Te Aratika Academy

Te Aratika Academy, is committed to advancing the cultural, academic, physical, spiritual and social needs of Maori and Pasifika youth. 
We are seeking committed Friends of the Academy, who will partner with us in promoting and growing our Vision, and to assist in building a strong future for our taiohi (young people).

WHat can I give to the academy??

• Time and Talents
  Community members can volunteer at the school or school events, present to students about an area of expertise or offer an extra-curricular activity for students.
   

• In kind Goods and Services
  TAA welcomes the donation of goods and services, which can support teaching in the classroom, extra-curricular activities, fundraising, and promotion of TAA programmes.
   

• Monetary Donations
  Monetary donations can be made through cash, cheque, credit card, or bank transfer, with the easiest and most efficient way being online.

Monetary Donations

The Academy community raises funds to support the ongoing work of the school, and donations are split between Annual, Capital and Endowment Funds.

• Annual Fund
  The Annual Fund bridges the gap between revenue from tuition and fees and the full cost of delivering our programmes. Donations to this fund allows TAA to create innovative educational programs that enhance student learning.
  

• Capital Fund
  The Capital Fund supports the purchase, renovation, improvement and maintenance related to our facilities.
  

• Endowment Fund
  The Endowment Fund ensures long-term financial sustainability. The principal will remain untouched and grow through donations. Earnings support special events and projects.
